This tutorial was written by me on 28 October 2010. Any similarity to other tutorials is not intentional.
Tube of Choice. I am using the awesome art of Robert Alvarado. In order to use the tube you must purchase it have the appropriate license to use it from MPT.
I used a gorgeous scrapkit by Sarah called Enchanted, which you can purchase at Pimp my tags with scraps HERE
Filters - Xero Porcelain and Radiance, Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow, dsb flux bright noise.
Font of choice, I used Vijaya.
Open a new canvas 700 x 700, floodfill white. Copy and paste frame 2. Using your freehand selection tool trace around the middle of the frame like this:
You don't have to be too neat, just keep away from the edges.
Copy and paste paper 8, re-size 60%, selections invert delete. Select none.
Copy and paste lamp 1, move to the left of your tag & drop shadow.
Copy and paste vines with lanterns above your white background layer. Move to the left of your tag, duplicate & move to the right. Drop shadow both layers.
Copy and paste splat 1, re-size 85% and move to the right of your tag.
Copy and paste branch 1, re-size 80% and move to the bottom of your tag, drop shadow.
Copy and paste flowers, re-size to your liking and drop shadow. Place at the bottom of your tag.
Copy and paste ribbon, re-size to your liking, drop shadow. Image, mirrow, place over the frame.
Copy and paste flower 1 re-size to your liking, drop shadow and place on the right of the frame. I duplicated mine twice and re-sized a little.
Go back to your paper layer, mine is raster 4. Selections, select all, float, defloat. Copy and paste your close up tube as a new layer. Selections, invert, delete, select none. Effects, Xero, Porcelain use the default settings but change the blue channel to 0. Duplicate tube. On the duplicate copy, adjust blur gaussian blur, 3. Change the blend mode to soft light. On the original, change the blend mode to luminance legacy, drop shadow.
I added some sparkles I had above this layer. You'll have to move it around to suit your tube.
Drop shadow the frame layer.
Copy and paste your main tube above your frame layer. Erase any of the tube which hangs over the frame. I do this by duplicating the tube and place one over and one under the frame, and erasing the 'overhang' on the top tube. I used Xero Radiance on my original tube layer, cos I love this filter! Press the random button until you get something you like! Drop Shadow.
Copy and paste your bucket, drop shadow.
Add your name. I used gradient glow on mine choosing a colour from my tube.
Close your white background layer & crop merged opaque. Re-size tag to whatever you like, I usually use just under 600 x 600.
Now, add your artists credits and you are finished!! Unless you would like to animate!!
Copy and paste your bucket so you have 3 layers. When I animate, this is the only time I re-name my layers! Rename these 3 layers 1, 2 and 3.
Close your white background layer.
On layer 1, using your freehand selection tool, draw around the water coming out of the bucket. Still on layer 1, effects, dsb flux bright noise - intensity 85, mix. On layer 2, effects, dsb flux bright noise, but hit the mix button a couple of times. On layer 3, same effect, hitting the mix button a few times again. Select none.
Close layers 2 and 3, copy merged and in animation shop, paste as new animation.
Back to psp, close layer 1 and open layer 2, copy merged, paste in ani shop after current frame. Repeat, taking layer to ani shop.
Animation properties, click on the opaque button, and choose your background colour. This would normally be white, unless you intend posting in a particular forum you could use the background colour there, so that it looks like a png.
That's it, finished!!!
