This tutorial was written by me on 12 November 2010. Any similarity to other tutorials is not intentional.

Supplies:

Tube of Choice. The art I am using is ©Marco Guaglione. In order to use the tube you must purchase it and have the appropriate license to use it from MPT.

I used a gorgeous kit called Dark Romance by Kittz, which you can download HERE

Mask of choice, I used WSL mask 307, which you can download HERE. Save it to your masks folder.

Filters - Xero Porcelain and Radiance, Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow

Font of choice, I used Boring Showers.

Let's start!

Open a new canvas 700 x 700, floodfill white.

Copy and paste Frame and Pearls, re-size 80% twice. Using your selection tool, draw a rectangle on your frame like this:

Copy and paste paper 17, re-size 80%. Selections, invert, delete. Move this under your frame layer. Copy and paste your tube so it's between the frame and paper. Effects, Xero, Radiance - press the random button until you get something you like or use the default settings, they're always good!

Drop shadow the frame layer.

Copy and paste the Tree Heart, image mirror & re-size 60%, drop shadow. Place this above your frame layer & just on the edge of the frame.

Copy and paste the Hearts Doodle, re-size 65% twice and place it above the bottom background layer, drop shadow.

Copy and paste the heart trails, re-size 55%. Image, rotate right 20. Adjust, sharpness, unsharpen mask, radius 1, strength 26, clipping 5, drop shadow.

Move below the frame layer.

Copy and paste the love bird, re-size 50%, drop shadow. Image mirror.

Copy and paste paper 12 above your background layer. Layers, load/save mask, load mask WSL 307, merge group.

Copy and paste Romance Book, re-size 45%, drop shadow.

Copy and paste Rose and Pearls, drop shadow.

Copy and paste Ribbon, re-size 80%. Drop shadow, image mirror. Move under the bird layer.

Copy and paste long bow, re-size 70%, drop shadow. Move above the frame layer.

Add your name. I used gradient glow on mine choosing a colour from my tube.

Close your white background layer & crop merged opaque. Re-size tag to whatever you like, I usually use just under 600 x 600.

Now, add your artists credits and you are finished!!
