This tutorial was written by me on 31 October 2010. Any similarity to other tutorials is not intentional.

Supplies:

Tube and close up of Choice. The art I am using is ©Jamie Kidd. In order to use the same tube you must purchase it have the appropriate license to use it from CILM

I used a gorgeous kit from Kittz, called Passion, which you can download HERE

Filters - Xero Porcelain and Radiance, Xenofex 2 Constellation, Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow

Mask - I used Vix Mask 416, which you can get HERE

Font of choice, I used Big Mister C.

Let's start!

Open a new canvas 700 x 700, floodfill white. Copy and paste Frame. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame, selections modify, expand by 5. Copy and paste paper 8 re-size 70%. Selections, invert, delete. Move the paper under the frame layer. Don't deselect yet.

Copy and paste your close up tube and place below your frame layer. Select none. Effects, Xero Porcelain, with the default settings, but change the blue channel to 0. Duplicate. On the copy adjust blur, gaussian blur 3. Change the blend mode to soft light. On the original, drop shadow.

Drop shadow the frame layer.

Copy and paste your main tube. Effects, Xero Radance with these settings:

Drop Shadow.

Copy and paste flower in pot. Re-size 45%, drop shadow.

Copy and paste flower 3, re-size 70%, image rotate, free rotate 5 right. Drop Shadow.

Copy and paste Sweet Kisses Tag, re-size 50%,image rotate, free rotate 10 right drop shadow.

Copy and paste Birdie, image mirror, re-size 55%, drop shadow.

Copy and paste flower 7, re-size 45% then 85%, drop shadow.

Copy and paste paper 11 above your white background layer. Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk, choose vix mask 416. Merge group. You might need to duplicate this layer for greater effect.

Add your name. I used gradient glow on mine choosing a colour from my tube.

Close your white background layer & crop merged opaque. Re-size tag to whatever you like, I usually use just under 600 x 600.

Now, add your artists credits and you are finished!!
