This tutorial was written by me on 4 December 2010. Any similarity to other tutorials is not intentional.

Supplies:

Tube and close up of Choice. I am using the awesome art of Keith Garvey. If you want to use the same tube you must purchase a license and the tube at MPT.

Scrapkit - I used an awesome kit by Kittz Creations called Nightmare Before Christmas which you can download HERE

Filters - Xero Porcelain, Xenofex 2, Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Mask of choice

Font of choice, I used VNI Park.

Let's start!

Open a new canvas 700 x 700, floodfill white. Copy and paste the window frame as a new layer, re-size 95%. On your frame layer, click outside the frame using your magic wand. Selections, modify, expand by 3. Copy and paste a paper as a new layer under your frame. Image re-size 75%. Delete, select none.

Copy and paste your tube under your frame layer. Duplicate the frame and place one frame above the tube and the other below. Erase bits of the frame on the copy (top) layer so it looks like your tube is half in & half out of the frame.

Drop shadow the original frame layer. On the tube, Effects, Xero Porcelain on the default settings but lower the blue channel. Drop shadow.

Copy and paste the broken toy, re-size 50%, drop shadow. Image mirror, and place on the lower left side of the frame.

Copy and paste the candles, re-size 65%, drop shadow.

Copy and paste the candy cane, re-size 35%. Image, mirror, drop shadow.

Copy and paste Jack Dangley, re-size 65%, drop shadow. Place under your tube layer, on the edge of the frame.

Copy and paste the ropes element, re-size 70% and place above your top frame layer. Drop shadow.

Copy and paste the Christmas wordart, re-size 65%. Effects, eye candy 4000, gradient glow on the fat setting using either white of a colour to suit your tag, drop shadow.

Copy and paste the beaded string, re-size 70%, drop shadow. Place on the left of the frame.

Copy and paste a paper above the white background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Add some sparkles!!!

Add your name. I used a greenradient glow on mine.

Close your white background layer & crop merged opaque. Re-size tag to whatever you like, I usually around 600 x 600.

Now, add your artists credits and you are finished!!
